The Index to Marine Geological Seafloor Samples
The Index to Marine and Lacustrine Geological Samples is a collaboration between 20 oceanographic and lacustrine institutions & the US NGDC/WDC GMG, Boulder to help researchers locate sea floor and lakebed samples for their research. The Index contains basic collection and storage information, as well as brief lithology and age for some samples, for sea floor and lakebed cores, dredges, grab samples, and drill samples.
